10,000 Steps to Total Health Walking club is a group walking session to encourage movement, low impact exercise and improve heart health while making new friends, and engaging in safe social activity. Join the group to work towards the goal of walking 10,000 steps a day to keep you active.

In promotion of Women's Health and Wellness, The Metamorphosis Women’s Empowerment Initiative will be hosting its 3rd Annual Community Women’s Health Fair on Saturday, August 5th, 2023 . In collaboration with Adagio Health, PA Department of Health, and a host of other community organizations. We are offering an opportunity for women to obtain free/ low cost diagnostic screenings such as Mammograms(for the insured and uninsured), Covid 19 testing and Vaccinations , cardiovascular screenings, Dental care information, Beauty consultations, Mental health resources , Giveaways, products , free lunch and information centered around women’s health and wellness. Come enjoy a day of fun , games, Raffles, Zumba, Yoga and more.

Reentry Simulation: Coming Home Tuesday, April 29th, 2025 11AM- 4PM Join us for an eye-opening Reentry Simulation that brings to life the challenges faced by individuals returning to society after incarceration. This interactive experience will provide firsthand insight into the barriers of reentry, from securing employment and housing to accessing essential services. During this simulation, participants will navigate real-life scenarios, making difficult decisions while overcoming obstacles that justice-involved individuals face daily. By stepping into their shoes, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the reentry process and how we can create more supportive pathways for successful reintegration. The Metamorphosis Women's Empowerment Initiative has partnered with the National Council of Negro Women Greater Pocono Section (NCNW) to present their annual Pocono Juneteenth Fest celebrating Freedom Fathers and families with a celebration enriched in music, dance , song art spoken word, food, vendors and a day embracing unity and pride. Festivities will be held at East Stroudsburg University on June 22, 2025 from 12-5pm. Join us in celebrating the culture.
