The Metamorphosis Community Outreach Projects were established to build relationships with community organizations to assist in constructing pathways to a better and safer lifestyle for disadvantaged communities. The harsh realities devastating them motivated Metamorphosis to summon a call to action to make a change. Acknowledging that it has to happen on every level in order to achieve a complete societal acceptance of equal rights, unbiased justice, healthy environments, and respect of our basic human rights was our inspiration to begin our community advocacy projects.
Through the establishment of projects such as The Everybody Eats Project, Back to school supplies giveaway projects, anti-racism and equal justice marches, voter registration advocacy, and The When She Comes Home Initiative, we sought to begin to build a bridge to understanding and healing through conversations with politicians, law enforcement, community activists and everyday citizens. The aim is to positively impact our educational, judicial, and social communities to produce favorable outcomes and circumstances for our families.
Community Involvement
- The Metamorphosis Women’s Empowerment Initiative Everybody Eats Project assists families in the Poconos and surrounding areas in need of emergency assistance with food and other healthcare items that have been affected by the pandemic and other hardships.
- Volunteer at local pantries such as Salt of the Earth Food Pantry, Passion for Christ Church Pantry, and Roots Living Ministry to help serve our community.
- Provide nutritional assistance to local community organizations such as P.A.T.H. and Crossroads in the Poconos, PA.
- Sponsorship of A Beautiful Heart Ministries “When She Comes Home Initiative” by donations of essential survival elements such as toiletries to self-care packages benefiting women returning home after incarceration who are beginning to reestablish their lives

- August 2021 – Sponsorship of various Back to School Events
- May 2021 -Partnership/ sponsorship and coordinator of The Passion Project Women’s Health Fair with the Passion for Christ Church, East Stroudsburg, Pa providing women particularly those who are under or uninsured with free mammograms, women’s health exams including cervical cancer screenings, and wellness checks and health information.
- April 2021 – The Everybody Eats Easter Dinner Drive Thru Event supplied approximately 40 families with dinners for the holiday.
- December 2020- Sponsored The Metamorphosis Women’s Empowerment Holiday Toy Drive raising approximately $4000 in donations and goods benefitting the Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital and Kidspeace Children’s Hospital, and P.A.T.H. Women and Children
- December 2020 – Partnered and Sponsored The Passion Project Drive-Through Holiday Giveaway with The Passion for christ church donating toys, clothing, and food items to local families.
- November 2020- Thanksgiving Food Drive in partnership with The Greater Pocono National Council of Negro Women [NCNW]
- October 2020-” We Care About You: Dinner, shopping and Prayer Event benefiting the Poconos Homeless and those in need in partnership with Soul Care Community Church.
- October 2020 – Roots Living Ministry Community Feeding Event” donating 400 boxes of food to over 200 families in need in the Poconos.
- June 2020-A Key coordinator in “We Are Stronger Together” March against Injustice and Racism, Call to Action Civic Engagement, and Voter Registration Drive
